Curved Tooth Gear Coupling

A curved tooth gear coupling is a type of mechanical coupling used to transmit torque between two shafts that are not collinear. It consists of two toothed hubs with curved teeth that mesh together to transmit power. These couplings accommodate angular misalignment, parallel misalignment, and axial displacement between the shafts while maintaining smooth and efficient power transmission. They are commonly used in various industrial applications such as machinery, pumps, compressors, and turbines where precise torque transmission is required, along with the ability to compensate for shaft misalignment.

The curved tooth gear couplings consist of 2 geared hubs and a curved tooth nylon sleeve. Other characteristics include:

  • Double-Section tpye curved-tooth gear coupling
  • Widely applicable in various mechanical & hydraulic fields
  • Nylon & steel matched, maintenance free
  • Able to offset axial, radial & angular misalignments
  • Axial plugging assembly, very convenient
  • Excellent Mechanical Performance
  • High rigidity
  • High temperature resistance (+100C)
  • Not embrittled at low temperature
  • Good slippery & frictional behaviour
  • Excellent electrical insulation behaviour
  • Chemical corrosion endurable
  • High Accuracy of processing
